About Me

I was born and brought up at Nagpur, a city in Maharashtra, India. I have a Bachelor in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, India. After BE, I completed Masters in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon Univerty, Pittsburgh, USA and PhD in Computer Science at College of Computing, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. I am now a research scientist in the Systems Architecture Lab of Intel Labs. My research interests encompass systems in general with particular inclination towards virtualization, embedded and real time systems as well as distributed systems. I am currently working on graph based storage and applications on non volatile memory systems. I love to work on systems which impose stringent requirements in terms of software design and coding and call for innovative solutions. It is this love and extreme fascination for challenges that has drawn me into this constantly evolving world of research!

Apart from chatting, making lots of friends and spending time with them, I like to try out a guitar occassionally and want to invest in a piano at some point. My current residence is in Portland with my husband and our little sweetheart. We enjoy exploring the many worthy dessert and coffee shops that the city has to offer, hiking, traveling and we hope to fly small aircrafts some day.
